Natural Cowhide Rug Patterns - What are they anyway

So many natural cowhide patterns that one wonders what is most appropriate.  Normally we think of three categories of natural cowhide rugs: black and white, brown and white, and brindles and tricolors.  Brindles and tricolors are usually grouped together as they have more than two colors.

Black and white can be found in cloud patterns and speckled or salt and pepper patterns.  Brown and white include traditional hereford patterns, and cloud patterns such as a light brown and white palomino.  Tricolors are in the cloud pattern category but have some black mixed in with the brown and white.  Brindles come in different shades but contain black, brown and white in a blended pattern.

We also feature dyed solid black hides, and natural all off-white hides as well as solid brown and caramel.
