Many people are curious about our celebrity clients, many of which purchase unique items for their own homes, or in the case of directors and producers for their films. Mel Brooks, for instance, purchased some black sheepskin rugs for his film "The History of the World." I think these were used for the cave man scenes. Michael Mann purchased a standard black and white zebra print cowhide for his movie "Heat." We spent a great deal of time with Cher in her spacious Malibu home helping her decorate her living room with over twenty leopard print cowhides. She had to see what they were going to look like before she would purchase them. We do offer this kind of personal service and that's one reason we are so successful catering to the Hollywood Trade.

Of course we custom made a fabulous round flokati rug for the MTV Music Awards one year and sold numerous animal print rugs to Sony for the movie "Men in Black II." We even sold sheepskin rugs to a fabulous looking Raquel Welch for her personal Yoga exercise.

But probably the most fun was selling to music industry personalities like Snoop Dog and Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top. Snoop Dogg and his entourage filled up their van with cowhides and sheepskin rugs. Billy Gibbons bought a lot of electric guitar area rugs to give as gifts to his friends, as well as leather shag for his home.
